It is such a privilege to be part of Peace Hills Adventist School. This is my first year teaching at PHAS, but I have been teaching for the adventist community for all four years prior to my time here. My favorite subjects are science, math and PE which all provide for fun, hands-on activities. Our classroom focuses on kind and inclusive mutual respect that is gained through our actions towards each other. I am blessed to have a loving wife and am anxiously awaiting our first child.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.”

I love being a part of Peace Hills Adventist School. I love to teach and have been involved here since the school opened in 1989. My favourite subjects are math and science. I like to have a yearlong theme that impacts the students each year and makes learning more fun and the environment nice and home-like. I have a very supportive family: Everett, Michael & Brittany, Melissa and Ted, Baba and aunty Charlotte. It is such a privilege to be able to talk about Jesus and study the Bible every day.

Peace Hills Adventist School is the first school I taught in with my own classroom. I love being able to teach my students for multiple years as it really lets us get to know them and their strengths better! My favourite subjects are social studies and science. I enjoy having class discussions, cooking classes, and bringing my dachshund (Onyx) to school. I have a wonderful husband, Brian, who has often helped me move books and prepare my classroom. My favourite Bible verse is John 15:13.
