Biography

It is such a privilege to be part of Peace Hills Adventist School. This is my third year teaching at PHAS, and I have been teaching for the adventist community for all four years prior to my time here. My favorite subjects are science, math and PE which all provide for fun, hands-on activities. Our classroom focuses on kind and inclusive mutual respect that is gained through our actions towards each other. I am blessed to have a loving wife and am anxiously awaiting our first child.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.”

Biography

I love being a part of Peace Hills Adventist School. I love to teach and have been involved here since the school opened in 1989. My favourite subjects are math and science. I like to have a yearlong theme that impacts the students each year and makes learning more fun and the environment nice and home-like. I have a very supportive family: Everett, Michael & Brittany, Melissa and Ted, Baba and aunty Charlotte. It is such a privilege to be able to talk about Jesus and study the Bible every day.
Philippians 4:9: whatever you have learned or recieved or heard from me, or seen in me, put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Biography

I am very excited to be teaching at Peace Hills this year! This will be my second year teaching in a multigrade setting. My favorite subjects to teach are science, English, art, and music. In our classroom, I want to equip my students with traits not only to help them in their future but to cultivate an environment where they feel like they belong and where they can show kindness to others. I also like to provide a classroom environment where the students can really interact and contribute to their learning. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy reading, crochet, being out in nature and spending time with friends. I am grateful to have a support network of my family and friends to help me get through life. Ephesians 2:8-10For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
